The Process

Purva Karma (Preparation)

Medicated sand is heated to a safe, therapeutic temperature and prepared into cloth boluses.

Pradhana Karma (Main Procedure)

The heated sand boluses are applied and massaged over the affected joints for a set duration.

Paschat Karma (Aftercare)

Patients are advised to rest and keep the treated area warm following the session.
