Nasya Jaipur (नस्य)
Overview
Nasya is a Panchkarma procedure involving the administration of medicated oils or powders through the nostrils, used to clear the head and neck region.
How It Works
Since the nasal passage is considered a direct route to the head in Ayurveda, medicated preparations administered nasally are believed to clear Kapha accumulation and support related structures.

The Process
Purva Karma (Preparation)
A gentle facial and neck massage with steam is typically given to loosen congestion before the procedure.
Pradhana Karma (Main Procedure)
Medicated oil or herbal powder is administered into the nostrils in a controlled dose while the patient lies in a specific position.
Paschat Karma (Aftercare)
Patients are advised to avoid cold exposure and may be given mild gargling or steam inhalation as follow-up care.
