The Process
Purva Karma (Preparation)
Medicated oil is warmed to a safe, comfortable temperature.
Pradhana Karma (Main Procedure)
A small quantity of warm oil is instilled into the ear canal and retained for a brief period while the patient rests on their side.
Paschat Karma (Aftercare)
The ear is gently cleaned externally, and patients are advised to avoid water exposure for a short period.
